St. Hilda's Episcopal Church is a family congregation with a focus on community service

                                          In worship,

         We use the Book of Common Prayer both Rite I and Rite II. We have one Sunday morning communion service at 10:00 a.m.

Bible Study Sunday Mornings at 8:45

        Wednesday morning Eucharist with coffee and discussion group at 8:00 a.m.

 

    We welcome all people of God. Our worship is both bible centered and liturgically in accordance with the practices of the Episcopal Church in the United States. (ECUSA). We love to have special services and celebrations.

                                 Community Service

        We are a covenant church with Habitat for Humanity.  We are a supporter of the Ella Curran Food Bank. We provide Community outreach for social services and mental health programs.

      We support campus ministry at Western Oregon University through Fellowship House

                                                        Deaf Ministry

       St. Hilda's has an active ministry with Deaf People, Providing interpreters for church services and events

     We also prvide volunteer work at Oregon State School for the Deaf and Northwest Human Services Connection Program and Western Oregon University.  Our ministry is represented on the boards of two non profit agencies established for the purpose of providing support for Deaf Children and Famlies. Independent Opportunities Unlimited and Friends of OSD ( FOSD).

     The Alleluiah Fellowship of the Deaf comes together once a month  for prayer and social activities.
